Following a sustained season of wet weather, some areas of the course, including the fairways, had been flooded, requiring a robust drainage approach. A key objective was to ensure efficient delivery of materials to ensure that improvements could be quickly completed and reduce the impact on members and play time. The material required was in high demand, so a strong logistical plan was required to ensure that the gravel and haulage was in place.
Supply took place over three days in November 2024, scheduled during a quieter period of the week when fewer players were on the course.
The project was completed on time, following a one day turnaround between point of enquiry and the first truck on site.
