No dig gardening

No dig gardening is an easier way to create beds, manage weeds and yield quality produce. It often results in larger vegetables and is a great option if you're time poor.

It works by adding organic matter, such as garden compost, to the soil surface to help mimic the natural process of decomposition. Rather than being ‘dug in’ any plants, fungi and other organisms then break down the organic matter into the soil. This helps protect the soil structure and keep its ecosystem intact.

Our No Dig Compost has been specially formulated for new vegetable beds with a blend of composted fine bark and coir and a slow-release fertiliser which will last up to 12 weeks.
