Why Use Potting Compost?

Our Potting Compost is specially blended to support the healthy growth of seedlings and young plants. This peat-free compost combines composted fine bark and coir with a slow-release fertiliser, providing the nutrients and structure plants need during the early stages of growth.

With a lighter texture designed to improve drainage and root development, this potting compost creates the ideal environment for plants to establish strong roots and grow steadily. It is perfect for gardeners starting plants from seed or potting on young plants in containers, trays, or small pots.

Where & How to Use Potting Compost:

Potting Compost is ideal for sowing seeds, growing seedlings, and potting on young plants in containers, trays, and small pots.

Fill pots or trays with compost and lightly firm before sowing seeds or planting young plants. Water gently after planting and keep the compost moist while plants grow. As plants grow, they can be moved into larger containers or garden beds when ready.
