How to Build the Perfect Fire (Top-Down Method)

For an easy, long-lasting fire, try the top-down method:

Start with logs – Place your logs at the bottom of your wood burner or fireplace.
Add kindling – Stack 6–8 sticks of kiln-dried kindling on top of the logs, like you’re building a little Jenga tower.
Light it up – Pop a natural firelighter in the middle of the kindling and light it.
Keep it going – Once it’s burning well, add more logs as needed and enjoy the warmth.
