Everything you need to know
This Border Spade from Pedigree is perfect for small gardens and confined spaces. It combines lightweight, durable stainless steel with FSC certified sustainable Ash and includes it's own tread to protect your boots.
The treaded top provides extra leverage, allowing you to apply more pressure comfortably when digging. Its stainless steel blade resists rust and cuts cleanly through soil.
This Treaded Border Spade is perfect for:
- Digging in borders and beds
- Planting shrubs and perennials
- Soil preparation in smaller areas
- Working around established plants
Place the blade into the soil and use your foot on the tread to drive it in. Lift and turn soil carefully to avoid disturbing nearby roots.
Ideal for preparing areas before adding topsoil or compost.
This Spade is easy to wipe clean and handle capped for extra strength and has a strapped socket with double rivet that connects the head and shaft for increased durability.
Clean soil off the handle and tool head after use. Smooth fine sandpaper over the handle and wipe with a thin layer of linseed oil to keep tools in top condition.
