How quickly do nematodes start working?

Nematodes begin targeting pests within a few days of application, although results can vary depending on soil temperature, moisture levels and the activity of the pests.

Can nematodes be applied with water?

Yes. Nematodes should be mixed with water and applied using a watering can, sprayer or irrigation system to ensure even distribution throughout the soil.

Do I need to reapply nematodes after rain?

Light rainfall can help move nematodes into the soil. However, if heavy rain occurs immediately after application, a repeat treatment may be required to maintain effective pest control.

Are mixed nematodes suitable for all soil types?
Nematodes perform best in moist, well-drained soil but can be used successfully in most garden soils where the target pests are present.

How should I store nematodes before use?

Store nematodes in a refrigerator between 4°C and 10°C and use them before the expiry date. For best results, apply them as soon as possible after delivery.

Can nematodes be used alongside other pest control products?

Avoid applying chemical pesticides, as these may reduce the effectiveness of the nematodes. If other treatments are required, check compatibility before use.
