Why Use Our Organic Garden Topsoil?

Our Organic Garden Topsoil is the perfect choice when your beds and borders need a boost. Rich and full of natural nutrients, it provides plants with the perfect base to put down strong roots. Whether you're filling new beds, topping up tired soil or refreshing a patch that needs a little love, this organic, peat-free topsoil helps nourish your garden, helping make it healthier and more vibrant.

What Are The Benefits of Using Earth Cycle Topsoil?

· Peat-free and eco-friendly: kind to your garden and the environment.

· Great for all garden projects: ideal for flower beds, borders raised planters and containers and comes in cost-effective bulk bags for bigger projects

· Boosts plant health: helps roots grow strong and keeps moisture where it’s needed, supporting better flowering and plant growth.

How To Use Topsoil

1. Prepare your area: clear away weeds, large stones and old plant debris.

2. Spread your topsoil: add a generous layer over the area you’re improving. For brand-new beds, use a deep layer; for topping up, a thinner layer works well.

3. Rake and level: smooth the soil with a rake so it’s even and ready for planting.

4. Water the area: give the area a good drink to help everything settle.

5. Start planting: pop in seeds, flowers, shrubs, vegetables or herbs and enjoy watching them thrive.

Our Organic Topsoil is transported on a pallet and delivered through our national courier network. You can choose between small bags, bulk bags and pallet loads depending on your project’s scale. Deliveries are made to the kerbside or the nearest safe unloading point.

For bulk bags, a tail-lift and pallet truck are used, requiring a stable, level surface. The driver is unable to move pallets over soft ground, loose materials or steep gradients. If you think access to your property may be difficult, please contact us prior to ordering for guidance.

Tracking details are provided once your order is dispatched. Orders involving multiple pallets may arrive separately.

FAQs

We'd recommended that you use your products as soon as you can. If that's not possible, cover the bag with a plastic sheet and leave it no longer than a couple of days. Small bags can be left longer and used at a later date.

Compost and topsoil have different uses, so it’s difficult to say that one is better than the other. However, unlike compost, which is purely made up of decomposed organic matter, our garden topsoil is made from clay, silt and sand and is infused with nutrients, making it a fantastic all-rounder for boosting plant growth.

The point of topsoil is to increase plant growth and improve plant health, as it is rich in organic matter and microorganisms, which provides the plants with key nutrients and creates a perfect environment for them to grow.
