Topsoil Delivery Information
Our peat-free organic topsoil is delivered in the following sizes:
Topsoil Supreme: Half Bag (400L), Full Bag (750L) or Pallet (40 x 25L)
Lawn Supreme Topsoil: Half Bag (400L) or Full Bag (750L)
BS3882 Multi-Purpose Topsoil: Half Bag (400L) or Full Bag (750L)
Turf Dressing Rootzone: Half Bag (400L), Full Bag (750L) or Pallet (40 x 25L)
Wildflower Topsoil: Half Bag (400L) or Full Bag (750L)
The price includes delivery, but there are additional charges for certain parts of the UK.
Delivery charges are calculated at checkout after providing your postcode or can be viewed by using our delivery charge calculator
There are also additional charges for next day, Saturday or specific time deliveries.
Key information about delivery: From us to you
Bulk Bags and Small Bags
Usually, nationwide deliveries are made by a third-party haulier, using a tail-lift and hand-controlled pump truck NOT by a lorry with a crane. Because of this, we can only guarantee delivery to kerbside, but in most cases a driveway, as long as there is adequate hard standing to take the weight of an 18-tonne vehicle.
The pump trolley which manoeuvres your pallet cannot go over kerbs and won’t be able to unload onto:
- gravel or loose areas
- steep slopes
- soil areas
It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure there is ample space for the delivery vehicle to reach your property and unload, with no obstructions or parked cars.
Our drivers will endeavour to deliver the bags to your driveway, where possible.
If obstructions are encountered, permission will be required for the driver to leave bulk bags on the road or kerbside.

If the driver is unable to deliver, due to failure to comply with the above stipulations, the customer is liable for the cost of re-delivery, starting at £85 + VAT
Empty bulk bags and pallets are not returnable and non-refundable.
*Loose products* can only be delivered within a 50 mile radius of our composting site in Chichester, West Sussex. This service can only be requested by phone.

Am I able to specify a delivery time & date?
Within the 5 working day delivery service, you are able to select the available delivery slot that suits you, from the calendar icon on the checkout page.
This is a free service. Deliveries required earlier than 5 days or if you require time slots (extra charges will apply) please call us on 01243 781730 for advice.
Must you be present during delivery?
It is recommended that you are present when the driver arrives, but we will still deliver if that is not possible.
Our highly skilled drivers are able to decide the best place to safely leave your delivery, but it may be prudent to leave specific instructions, in the special delivery instructions box, in the checkout area, if you are unable to attend the delivery.
The Woodhorn Group Ltd cannot accept any liability for theft of unattended deliveries If you are unable to be present for delivery.
