When planting, spread or backfill the topsoil around the root ball to help provide a nutrient-rich base for root establishment. Firm gently around the plant and water well after planting to help the soil settle and encourage strong root development.

For smaller planting jobs, small bags can be delivered by courier, making this product suitable for both trade and domestic customers.

Does topsoil or compost need using straight away?
We'd recommended that you use your products as soon as you can. If that's not possible, cover the bag with a plastic sheet and leave it no longer than a couple of days. Small bags can be left longer and used at a later date.
