Love the allotment life? We’re launching a competition for National Allotment Week
National Allotment Week takes place from 13th – 19th August and will be highlighting the many benefits of growing your own fruit and vegetables. We know many of our customers have already discovered these benefits so we’re asking for photos of your treasured plot, or prize fruit and veg crop from this year.
The winning allotment holder will receive a bulk bag (750L – 1000L) of a product of their choosing from the Earth Cycle range including Topsoil, Soil Conditioner, Mushroom Compost, Mulch and Bark. We’re hoping that the competition will encourage others to get green-fingered and embrace the life of an allotment holder.
Don’t worry if you feel that your allotment isn’t quite up to prize-winning standard just yet. We’ll be posting a series of tips and guides throughout National Allotment Week to guide you along. Also, we’re real enthusiasts for both gardening and the environment so remember, your first successful crop, however small, is just as exciting and as worth a photo than the largest prize marrow.
The aim of the competition is to raise awareness of the many benefits of growing your own fruit and vegetables. It’s not just the health benefits of eating more fruit and veg, or even the reduction to your carbon footprint in growing your own that matter. Studies show that there are many physical and mental health benefits of gardening – and this means allotments are very special places indeed.

To enter, simply send a photo of your home grown produce or allotment to [email protected] or share on social media using the hashtag #ECAllotmentWeek by 19 August.

Competition is only open to legal residents of Great Britain. Residents of Northern Ireland are not eligible for entry.
No refunds or cash alternatives available
