Earth Cycle Launches New Certified BS8601 Subsoil and Wildflower Topsoil

Share

We’re excited to have just launched two new landscaping soils as part of our organic, peat-free range.

Our new Subsoil is certified to BS8601:2013 specification and is also NHBC compliant. With a sandy-clay composition, the Subsoil been specifically developed to meet the necessary requirements for drainage, water storage and anchorage for trees and shrubs, and complements our popular BS3882 Topsoil which is trusted by groundworkers, civil engineers and construction firms across the south of England who require certified soils for developments.

We developed our new innovative Wildflower Topsoil to address the growing need to support the environment by providing habitats for plants and insects. Certified to the BS3882:2015 specification for low fertility, the sandy loam topsoil includes Earth Cycle PAS100 compost to provide a low level of nutrients to help native wildflowers flourish.

Speaking about the new products, Earth Cycle Sales and Marketing Manager Mike Jupp said, “Our new landscaping products were created due to the demand from our customers. We work closely with our clients and realised the growing need to expand our range of British Standard certified soils to provide a complementary product range to cater for the needs of our trade customers.”

By offering an end-to-end range of certified soils, we aim to help our growing number of trade customers adhere to the stringent groundwork requirements of local councils by supplying NHBC compliant soils that ensure any unnecessary and costly post-inspection groundworks are avoided. Both products sit within our broad portfolio peat-free products which includes soil conditioner, topsoil, turf dressing, bark, and cow compost.
