What are your opening times?
We are open 24/7 online, but if you do wish to call the team on 01243781730 then we are open 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

Where are you based?
Our offices are based in Oving, Chichester in West Sussex and our green waste sites are based in Tangmere and Runcton, both in West Sussex, and Hayling Island in Hampshire.

Why should I buy your product?
Earth Cycle peat free soil conditioners, composts and mulches are made from locally sourced recycled plant materials. These are composted under carefully controlled conditions to produce high quality products, as defined by the British Standard for Composted Materials - BSI PAS 100.

Do any of your products contain peat?
No. All of our composts, mulches and soil conditoners are completely peat free, locally sourced, environmentally friendly and made from 100% recycled plant materials.

Delivery

When will I receive my delivery?
Delivery can be on a selected day of your choice, but the earliest we can deliver is within 5 days of ordering online. However, if you would like your order sooner and live within a 30 mile radius of Chichester, then please contact us on 01243781730 before ordering and we can try to arrange this for you.

What size vehicle do you use to deliver?
Nationwide deliveries are made using an 18 tonne vehicle which measures 2.4m Wide, 2.5m High, and 7.3m in length.

Can you lift over walls/fences/hedges?
We can only lift over walls/fences and hedges if you are local to us (within a 30 mile radius of Chichester). For nationwide deliveries this would not be possible, but please see delivery instructions for further information.

Do you offer a crane delivery service?
We do not offer a crane delivery service for online orders, but if you are within a 30 mile radius of Chichester, then please contact us before ordering and this can be arranged.

What if I live on a hill/by a low bridge?
Please contact us with further details and we will be happy to check if your local delivery depot can accommodate delivery to your property

Do I need to be there to receive my delivery of compost?
We recommend that somebody is present when the delivery arrives, however we can still deliver if you are not in.
Our drivers are highly skilled and will determine the best accessible place to leave your goods. Should you not be present when your goods arrive, but you have particular instructions for the placement of your goods, then please specify in the special delivery instructions box located in the checkout area.
It is worth noting that The Woodhorn Group Ltd and EarthCycle cannot accept any liability for the theft for unattended deliveries.

I have a gravel drive, can you deliver on this?
We’re afraid we can’t deliver onto a gravel drive.

Can you deliver to my back garden?
We’re afraid we are unable to deliver to your back garden.

Do I need to return the empty bags?
There is no need to return the empty bulk bags.

Can I track my order?
Yes, you can track your order by using the tracking code and link sent in your order confirmation email

What does kerbside mean?
Kerbside is where the goods are left outside the house, on the kerb.

Can I collect from your base?
No, unfortunately we cannot allow members of the public onto our site due to health and safety regulations

Can you put the order through for me over the phone?
Yes, we are more than happy to put your order through over the phone; however prices may vary, due to the admin work involved.

Is your website secure?
Absolutely, our website is 100% secure.

Does the online price include VAT and delivery?
Yes, but additional charges for delivery may apply depending on post code.

Can I choose a delivery day?
Yes you are able to choose a delivery day, but the earliest we can deliver is within 5 days of ordering online.

If I am unhappy with my order, can it be returned?
We hope you are happy with the product, but if it is not what you expected the order can be returned to us, however due to the nature of the product the cost to return it to our site would not be refunded.

Yes you will receive a confirmation email.

How long can you leave Turf rolled up for?
Turf is a perishable product, so it will need to be laid as soon as possible.

Is your peat free compost certified?
Yes, all of our peat free composts are certificated to a PAS100 standard.

Are your composts and manures organic?
Yes both our peat free composts and manure are produced from organic materials with no additives or chemicals added. Our cow compost is also produced from our own organic dairy herd!

How much will one bulk bag cover?
At 5cm depth a 1m3 bulk bag (1000 litres) will cover 20 sq/m and a 0.75m3 (750 litres) bulk bag will cover 15 sq/m.

Is your Playchip Bark tested for safe use by children?
Yes our Playchip Bark is tested to make sure they are 100% safe for sites accessed by children.

Why should I purchase peat free compost?
Earth Cycle Peat Free Compost is packed full of the essential nutrients contained in the organic matter and is nature's natural soil condition
Earth Cycle Peat Free Compost improves the soil structure biologically, physically and chemically, providing a better rooting environment.

I want loose, tipped materials, is this possible?
If you would like the goods loose instead of in a bulk bag, it is possible. This is dependent on location, but please call our team on 01243781730 for more information and we can see if this can be arranged for you.

Can I pay with Paypal?
Yes we accept Paypal as a form of payment.

What credit cards do you accept?
We accept all credit cards apart from American Express.

Can I pay on delivery?
We’re afraid it is not possible to pay on delivery. All goods are paid for upon ordering.

Can you invoice me?
Your invoice is sent to you in your order confirmation email.

Can I open a credit account?
