We are pleased to announce that we have gained planning consent to build our solar farm!
The plans for a 5 megawatt Solar Farm at Oving was approved unanimously at today’s Chichester District Council’s Planning Committee meeting.
Our Managing Director, John Pitts was delighted:
“The scheme has attracted fantastic support locally and I am very grateful for the fact that so many people took an interest.
I was optimistic for a positive decision by the planning committee, but a unanimous yes verdict is a great vote of confidence in the project and the ethos behind it.
We now have a great deal of work to do to take this forward to the next stage. I am also very conscious that we have a responsibility to meet the high standards that have been promised in the application. This will be at the forefront of our minds as we plan every aspect going forward.”
