We are delighted to announce we have been shortlisted for not one but two national recycling awards. The 2016 Awards for Excellence in Recycling and Waste Management shortlist was announced earlier this month and we have been chosen as a finalist in the Recycling Business of the Year category.
The Awards for Excellence reward innovation, dedication and success within the waste and recycling industries, so we are thrilled to be nominated alongside two other top national businesses. Winners are due to be announced at a celebratory luncheon and Awards Ceremony on 19 May at the Landmark Hotel, London.
As well as this, our green waste recycling video campaign has seen us shortlisted at the MRW National Recycling Awards in the Communications category.
It is a great honour to have been shortlisted for our work on The Woodhorn Group Green Waste Story. We launched the video in December 2015 to demonstrate how local garden waste is turned into our nutrient-rich soil conditioners and compost.
MRW editor Robin Latchem said: ‘The entries on our shortlist this year highlight the breadth of expertise in today’s waste and resource management sector, despite the challenging market conditions.’ We are up against 11 high-achieving businesses in the communications category and the winners will be announced on 6 July at the London Hilton.
