Turf Matters

Share

The maintenance of turf is crucial in order to counteract everyday wear and tear, but it is equally as important to source and select the right turf in the first instance to make maintenance as easy as possible and to ensure your turf has plenty of durability.

Choosing a high quality turf also contributes to the vital process between air and soil, which produces the nutrients that keep your turf looking healthy.

At Earth Cycle we have three grades of turf available, suitable for most applications. This includes our versatile TGA quality standard turf, which is specially grown for use on hardwearing utility lawns.

Each roll is about 1m2 and is comprised of:

  • 25% Evita (dwarf amenity rye grass)
  • 20% Lincolnshire (smooth stalked meadow grass)
  • 10% Musica (chewing fescue)
  • 25% Herald (strong creeping red fescue)
  • 20% Cezanne (slender creeping red fescue)

The turf we offer is high quality, weed free and is grown on a sandy soil, allowing it to be light-weight and easy for you to handle and lay. Our turf is easy to maintain, hard-wearing and has some disease resistance, making maintenance that much easier. We also have a complete range of sports turf products from divot mixes and fairway dressings for golf clubs to sport rootzone and pitch dressings for football and rugby clubs.
