The Seed It Grow Mat allows you to quickly and cleanly grow healthy, fresh food from the comfort of your own home. Avoid plastics, pesticides... and the supermarket! Made from 100% British hemp fibre, hemp mats are one of the most sustainable growing mediums you can get.
In a seed tray, lay a single mat and cover with enough water to moisten the fibre. Sprinkle seeds (mustard, cress, wheatgrass etc.) evenly onto the damp mat and cover in darkness to encourage germination.
Once shoots have established (within approx. 3 days), uncover and keep the tray on a warm windowsill and in direct sunlight. Reapply water daily using a spray mister.
Grow in greater harmony with nature by using our biodegradable bamboo seed trays.
Note - Do not over-saturate your growing medium as this will increase risk of mould and hinder the root development.
