This product is manufactured from materials sourced 100% within the British Isles, thus completely free of any trace of methyl bromide contamination. It is free of all foreign matter such as metal, glass, plastic and any other extraneous materials.

The bark chips are ideal for decorative low maintenance gardening to borders, paths, beds and general mulching use. They are durable, long lasting and improve the health and appearance of your garden all year round.

Features

  • The white wood content is no greater than 15% in volume
  • Moisture content is in the region of 50-60% (green weight basis) on delivery
  • The weight/volume ratio (bulk density) is normally in the range of 250-350Kg/m3
  • pH range is between 4.5 and 5.5
  • Free of all foreign matter such as metal, glass, plastic and any other extraneous materials
  • Mid brown in colour with a mild odour

Application Rates

We recommend that all our mulches are laid at a depth of between 50 - 100mm to obtain the best results. Allowing 10% for settlement.

Please Note: Due to the nature of this product and the screening process, oversized pieces of wood may occur. However, these can easily be removed at the time of installation.
