Environmental Impact on Tree Planting

Tree planting is reconsigned as one of the most engaging, environmentally-friendly activities that people can take part in better the plant.

Trees provide many sustainable benefits for our planet and for everything that inhabits it. From juvenile turtles learning their trade in the sea, all the way to farmers and families working around the world, trees are an indispensable natural asset to all of us.

  1. More Oxygen In The Air

The oxygen we need to survive comes from a few irreplaceable sources on our planet, one being trees. Oxygen is naturally released as a by-product of trees photosynthesis, where they pull in carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. Therefore by planting more trees all over the world, we will be creating more oxygen and more fresh air to breathe.

  1. More natural carbon sinks and reduced greenhouse gases

Trees absorb carbon and water when they feed themselves and release oxygen into the atmosphere. One of the major factors affecting global warming and climate change is the amount of carbon dioxide in our atmosphere. This greenhouse gas is most famous for its heat-trapping properties.

With the planet heating up at such a rapid rate, the levels of carbon dioxide that we are producing is trapping the heat in our atmosphere. Trees are essentially filters that fight this.

  1. Natural Habitats

Almost every animal depends on trees, even sea life! Many of the worlds endangered animal species are endangered because they have lost their natural habitat to deforestation. Tree clearing is a huge factor in habitat loss for many animals such as tigers, rhinos, and elephants. Some of which are already extinct.

  1. Worldwide Careers and Salaries

Planting trees helps to develop many careers across the nation where reliable salaries are lacking. Careers in planting trees allow workers to provide for their families escaping poverty. Planting more trees allows businesses to build a better future, learn more skills and educate their community to enable growth.

This helps the next generation to adopt the same method of tree planting skills and knowledge.

  1. Healthier Soil and Natural Humidity Control

There are many sustainable benefits to planting trees, from benefiting our environment, animals, and families, yet the most important benefit is the impact on Mother Earth herself.

Trees regulate the water cycle all over the world as rain is absorbed from soil by trees and other plants before it transires back into the atmosphere. This results in trees helping to control the humidity levels in our air.

They also manage the quality of the soil too. Trees remove the noxious substances and carbon from the soil which is highly beneficial to plants and other crops. Roots pull deep minerals to the surface, their foliage decomposes and adds even more nutrition to the soil.
