Earth Cycle delivers a range of high-quality bulk topsoils across Manchester and the Greater Manchester areas for your gardens, allotments or landscaping projects.

All our topsoils and soil conditioners are organic, and peat-free and all our products are produced ourselves and sourced ethically from household garden waste and our own farmyard.

Topsoil uses

  • Topsoil supreme

    We produce our Topsoil Supreme with top-quality screened soil and carefully blend it with our peat-free compost to create a multi-purpose topsoil for all your gardening needs. To give it an extra boost of organic matter, we blend our Topsoil Supreme with Compost Soil Conditioner which ensures your plants and vegetables have access to the vital nutrients they need to prosper. Our Topsoil is fantastic for creating vegetable plots, new gardens, raised bed borders and rockeries.

  • Lawn supreme

    Lawn supreme is perfect for rejuvenating a tired garden lawn. You can use it underneath new turf, levelling out your lawn or seeding grass. Just like our Topsoil Supreme, it’s mixed with compost and soil which promotes vigour in the grass and strong root growth.

  • Bs3882 topsoil

    Our BS3882 Topsoil is sand-based and so perfect for use in gardens as is packed full of nutrients to stimulate plant and vegetable growth and assists in retaining moisture. It’s also suitable for use in landscaping in and around building and infrastructure projects whereby a technical certificate is required. BS3882 Topsoil is ideal for lawns next to paving slabs or fencing as it soaks up surrounding water and is high quality and durable. Earth Cycle’s BS3882 Topsoil is certified to BS3882:2015 specification for the grade ‘Multi-Purpose Topsoil.’

  • Turf dressing rootzone

    We produce our high-quality Turf Dressing Rootzone from peat-free compost, mixed with sand and screened to 5mm. We pack it full of crucial nutrients to create long-lasting, durable grass. It’s specially designed for divot filling, sowing seeds, laying turf onto and top-dressing lawns, and continued application of soil or rootzone will build an ideal structure for your turf and lawn over the years. This product is also ideal for filling any hollows that might have developed under the grass surface.

  • Wildflower top soil

    Wildflowers are unique in the garden as, unlike most plants, they don’t need as many nutrients. With this in mind, we’ve developed a Topsoil for Wildflowers which has the optimum level of nutrients for them to thrive. This product is perfect for sowing seeds in March and April.
